Drug addicts usually don't kill themselves when using. Being clean is fucking hard as hell, and that's when things go sour. Heroin was probably still a contributing factor. But let's not forget that he wasn't the most chipper guy to begin with. Many factors probably contributed to his decision to end it. We can only speculate, but it's pointless. Apreciate his music instead of focusing on his death. You still give me a melancholy heartmelting joy.

You have to appreciate the down to like it. Some people are built for speed, some for euphoria. I think the best feeling on earth might be AWARENESS...but that can be hard to achieve, and I am still working on it.Anyway...I really need to listen to more Elliot Smith...I am late coming to his work.

Depends on how you value things. SWIM (someone who isn't me) never shot up, but SWIM done my share of opiates and snorted it before. It's great, but feelin' love is a lot better than any high you can get from a drug. SWIM hears it's better than sex, though. That's still pretty damn hard to beat.
