hmm rap meets metal is what I'm going for. good lyrics meet instrumentals. A lot of rock is indeed lack difficult instrumentals, but the lack of instrumentals in plain rap is too much for me to bear.

ur just not exposed to good rap...all u know is what is on tv, the shit the braindead youth eats up.that shit is a waste of time,but there is some very well written, poetic rap man..like with every genre,there is talent and there are jokes. like even country can be a joke..some of those guys out there..shit a 5th grader can write the lyrics. and all some of them do is strum a guitar. and then there's rock...where the instrumentals can be learned in a week, by someone who never picked up a guitar

rap isn't about the quality of the music it is about the quantity of the cash these rappers make from our brainwashed generation buying there cd's, most rappers dont even create the melody of their own music because they cant play any instruments. and dont even get me started on the creativity of the lyrics. its too bad these guys get all the recognition for making music when there are thousands of more skilled and creative musicians receiving no credit
