Actually, no. There are more left wing people in the US, the problem is the bums don't vote. Conservatives always make sure to vote. Whole fundamentalist Churches get absentee ballots and vote together in unison.

Yeah, like Vietnam and Korea, and Afghanistan and Iraq. Where's Osama bin Laden? Oh, that's right, Bush is friends with his family so he'll never be caught.

LOL this song is a complete critique on American nationalism and there are people actually dumb enough to come on here and post stuff like, "hell yeah! i love this country"

If you have ever attended his concerts Bruce relates that he was drafted during the war but he didn't get taken because he failed his Army Physical. He has always opposed war but has always supported Veterans and this song was for us! Thanks Bruce!

In light of what is happening today, exactly today, I would like to have another concert like "we are the world" for our world today. We respond to musical inspiration. Let's do it for us and the world now. We need positive reinforment and it so often comes with our musical heros.Let do it!!!!

You dumbass. READ THE LYRICS. This is not a nationalist song and Springsteen is all about rising above nationalism and seeing all people as part of humankind.
