JVC is the best way to go for replacement since they fit and are easy to take apart. forget, ear gels, ear jams, icaps and all that crap, they cut down on the sound quality. just use this hack, its very simple. i personally would rather save the 80$ to buy the iphone in-ear phones, and not have another pair of ipod earbuds in a drawer not being used!

This works with the JVC Marshmellows. I bought the silver/white ones from Walmart for 19.99. It was a bit of a pain to take apart, but with a razor blade, and working your way around the edges, it will finally come apart. I also scraped the silver off the back plate so it was nice and white, then used finger nail gloss and made it shiny. Great new fix for $20, don't have shitty old Apple headphones and I still get the microphone/on and off button on my cord!

he yo,,, my ipod touch is not working well,,one of the right headphone works fine but the left one dosent,,i am not do what you did,,, the only headphones that works fine with my ipod touch is the apple headphones,,,,why dosent the other brand work???
