Well I was replying to you AND someone else at the same time who questioned the 'overseas' bit - oh well, if I didn't make any sense, just ignore me. Love and light. I found your original question hard to understand too, so hey we are even! :-)

RESPECT to all the Maori's. I am over to your left across the sea, your neighbour, in Tasmania, but was born on the mainland of Australia. I only know that the drummer is from NZ and will be touring soon with the band Split Enz in a reunion tour kinda thing. There are a lot of NZ people who have moved to Australia, in fact a lot have moved here to Tasmania, many in the farming community so I guess it stands to reason then that Maoris living here are respecting their customs???

I think people are getting confused with John Butler and the drummer. The drummer was born in NZ but is not the original bands drummer - but has drummed on all their later stuff. John Butler himself was actually born in the USA but moved here as a young kid. One of his parents was Aussie, one American. I think it's easier if you just google both "John Butler' and google 'John Butler Trio' to learn all the correct facts about the singer and his band - cheers and love and peace to you all! |
