Political party violence, gang warfare, murder and oppression that shuck Jamaica in the 70s.Jimmy is a true icon, and great artist! Saw him in 68, before his suicide attempt! He blew me away with his energy and mix of soul and rock steady! Sweat all over the stage floor, i picked up one of his tissues and wiped up more sweat and kept it for several years, lol!

I saw this movie 50+ times at the Orson Wells Cinema in Cambridge when I was a wee lad in the 70's. I grew up to play in a 60's Reggae band.

I loved this movie, depressing as it was. I'm told it was based on a true story, thought it took place decades earlier.
