Please tell me what kind of guitar Chet is playing on this video ?It appears to be a steel string ...but the bass sounds more like a beautiful classical nylon string guitar to my ear- Larry

My father was a motorcycle cop who was nearly killed in the line of duty in 1964. As part of his therapy to bring back his left arm which had been crushed, he taught himself to play the guitar, playing by ear to Chet Atkins records. I still have those old LPs, and whenever I hear Atkins play, I think of my old man. RIP to them both.

shit most "Modern" guitar players like Zack Wylde or Keith Richards ain't even a pimple on Chet Atkins' ass. some of the best guitar players in the world are country pickers. I ain't but 18 but I can mimick Brad Paisley some and my Grandpa is a local legend on the guitar and I learned from him. U kno what else, Chet was his man influence.
