I'd imagine that that's somewhere between 100-110 WPM, which is average for any computer person (unless they're dyslexic, lawl.) Fastest I've ever typed was 130 WPM, but I've done it only 5 times. On average I type 100.

no, there's a lot of symbols that sound the same but mean different things when combined with certain other ones...in all there's a ton more , as stated in another comment they can change the symbol by hitting space depending on the orignal symbol, in all there's a lot more than in english..it's very confusing for people who didn't grow up learning japanese
