Isolde is an exhausting role, but after Mark shows up in act 2, I. has no singing the rest of the act, and she does not show up in act 3 till Tr. has done his long singing, so she has an hour or more to get her voice back for the lovedeath.

except for the note at 4:12 I think she sounds really great ... beautiful color of voice ... read what "counteralto" is saying in her comments ... the girl knows her stuff ... (Urmana is one of my favorite at the moment by the way) ... I think people are saying pretty much anything here ... they don t even know they don t know much ! that s what happens !

she has also been singing everything from Butterfly to Tosca to Turandot over the past 15 years internationally (Fenice, Torino et cetera). A hugely gifted artist, without the press agentry, pretension, and puffery that characterize her more well known colleagues in this repertoire.

Absolutely. The soprano ain't great, but Jordan and the orchestra are magnificent. They deserve better!
