i've read some comments here..i agree,in reality india is in debt with the world bank and so is many many other countries..gayatri mantra is for eternal peace..not to be chanted for material purposes..many people like us seek for eternal peace-because that helps us to carry on in our daily life..i hope that users of you tube will not make a mockery out of it

I find the chant and video to be extremely pleasant and calming. If i could intone it properly, i believe i'd chant it myself. I'm sorry that people don't accept the video as an opportunity to get to a better place for a few minutes. I'm Christian, for what it's worth.I really like India. I hope to visit it one day. :-)

very FUNNY.. we indians have VERY ANCIENT POWERFUL chants.. but none of them work. they are like rhymes.. they are good to sing.. for kids. other than that.. they are not powerful. there is NO POWER in them. if ther was power.. the brahmins of india would have used them long before and made india the No.1 country in the world. But unfortunately.. India is becoming the No.1 country in its DEBT to world bank..
