Yes, it is going to be remade. Search the game title on IGN and read carefully what the creators said.S.E. already stated in several recent interviews that a remake is possible only when the original development team are done with their current projects such as FF13. According to them, FFVII franchise will continue till 2017 before being dropped. My only question is for those who claims that it will "never" be remade. When it comes out, are you going to kill yourselves?

they should just repackage this game so i can find it other than a place thats selling it for 100 fuckin dollars. if they just repacage it the way it is even without bonus junk, it would still sell

bleh, as cool as it would be to play this game again you should not mess with a classic. The polygons gave it a certain charm that this realistic look severely lacks. What they should do is just re-release the original on the newer consoles. I'm not a fan of Cloud's look from Advent Children. Graphical updates are cool and all, but old games let you use your imagination a lot more and that was part of the fun.
