silenced*, but you're correct. The only weapon that can be realistically silenced is something in .22 LR, or a similar chambering. 'Silent' implies the projectile literally makes NO noise -- only the mechanism.

Silencers were basicly made for making the gunsound a bit lower, so it won't hurt the gunholder's ears...
