Right on, Mike Bloomfield is one of the best ever, I don't see many people doing covers of his stuff, its because not many people can do it, He goes along with Hendrix and SRV, People simply can't replicate the power,control, and tone they had. Alot of people I talk to say they never heard of Mike Bloomfield, its real sad. I say two words East-West, one of the best instrumentals ever, simply amazing, Mike Bloomfield must not be forgotten.

Yeah, I see that pick stuck in there too. It looks like he plays the solo but then at the end it just doesn't match up. You are right that the background vocals are totally mute, this show was clearly not well mic'd. Maybe the record company "enhanced" the concert with some studio session time? It's been known to happen. |
