If you want to see what a conductor does you shouldn't whats this but all the rehearsals than you'll see his ear is better than almost any other human ear on earth(in music)

The conductor not only displays tempo and etc., but he arranges the piece so it is performed in HIS own style. Good conductors like him make good arrangements.Very good, but a little too much timpany on the first movement.

Okay... first Ludwig van Beethoven is the composer. He died 1827 in Vienna (Austria). You mean the conductor. It's Herbert von Karajan. He died 1989 in Salzburg (Austria). The main duties of a conductor are to display tempo (speed), dynamics (volume), articulation (how hard or soft a tone is being played) and phrasing (building melodic arches). Oh no s123lollies, you're fine, and you're not the only one who used classical music as a study aid. I used classical music a lot to help me concentrate. In fact I've listen to classical music when I work around the house, or on my car.
