He did however use bubble twice to first aid, but still impressive. My rogue got pwned up there a couple times, though lower end gear, he still can't take that elite solo.

I have a lvl 65 mage, was specc'd frost cand could AoE grind very well specc'd fire now for instancing. I have made a paladin as an alt and am lvling him now, I might spec protection in mid 30's to see how well he does at it. :)

Ya, I was prot aoe grinding in plaguelands side by side with a mage(not in the same group). The mage was taking on like 20 mobs at a time while I was taking on like 10-12. By the 2nd day in plague the mage had leveled like 6 levels while I had gotten 3 I think. I did see her die a lot though, while I never died.

frost mages can aoe grind very well but if they screw up or one of there aoe's gets resisted then that screws them over completely
