both are fucking gr8 drummers. Lars have much better rythem, and he has much more controll on his arms, but Joey plays faster then Lars on the bass. But, I will say that Lars is the best, couse all Joey is doin, is playing fast as hell. Lars have some Rythem 2. So my opinion: Lars Ulrich, Metallica

here is my opinion there is no comparison between the two they are great in there own ways but i am a bigger metallica fan so you know who i am naturally going to say is better lol so that is just my opinion

In this show we clearly see Joey beat lars but lars is better in other things and its not the same song so....but I think in a drum duel Joey would win...go see on youtube :Joey Jordison Drum Solo...Joey turns up side down during his solo and his so good you have to see this!!!!!!.... GO SLIPKNOT !!!

u guys are fucking stupid lars and joey are both good just there doing diffrent tracks if they played the same solo u would fucking see there the same shit i like joey better but lars is beast to joey looks kinda gay unmasked lol but lars is better writer joeys a better drummer if joey had better u music you see what i mean they should work together and shit but its life i liked when they had ture together it was fun slipknot is going to iraq hope they dont get assasinated that would be gay..KKK

i really don't give a shit how fast joey can pla, no offense to joey i think he's a good player. But when it comes down to laying down drum tracks and writing music, Lars is the clear winner. If you don't believe me, listen to Metallica, not just the early stuff, and then find out how many totla records they sold compared to Slipknot, Slipnot is also a good ban, no offense to slipknot.

I think its stupid to compare their skills on the drums... They're both professional and great drummers. Its the drumtracks on the songs that are interesting, how they write music, not how fast they can play. And i think Lars have played better drumtracks on his albums, so i think he's the winner.
