In their defense...they only had 5 weeks to whip up a video game for a holiday season back then. And for a 5-week work, it wasn't that that THAT bad!

I you keep pressing the levitation button when your above the "pit" you doesn't fall back in and get a chance to manoeuvre away from it.Probably something worth mentioning, since falling into pits all the time is the most annoying part of the game.
