I always thought that it was just a bit of confusion, not anything nefarious on the part of DJ Hype. Since Hype and Zinc worked so closely, I always just assumed that various members of the public perpetuated the (incorrect) fact that this was a Hype remix and not Zinc.

if u like-check out orig songs (stickup & hit the deck) by mc det, used to have a great mix ALMOST identical to this but more DnB instead of fugees focus. Hip hop mix off some random cd from Tower. Would do the Happy Dance if found again. The Ex's always steal your fav cd huh?

Actually, this bootleg was bootlegged by DJ Hype from the genius artists who worked at Groove Radio... DJ Hype was really "just Hype" and slapped his name on something that didnt belong to him...and you can quote me... I was there!! Nuyorikan Soulja....
