Open all hours, Steptoe and son, the Two Ronnies, Keeping up appearances, Last of the summer wine, Blackadder, and who could forget Only Fools and Horses! There's just loads isn't there? We like to laugh at ourselves! :D Dad's Army beats the lot of them, though!

Aw, brilliant! Absolutely loved that series and always watch the repeats on GOLD. British comedy, when well done, beats everything, but I also love some US comedy (Cheers, Frasier) and think Kath and Kim is great too.One old US series I'd love to see again is The Phil Silvers Show (aka Bilko) - classic comedy at its best.

You're a bit of a paranoiac aren't you? I gave you credit for mentioning the fact that more countries than just the UK or US produce good comedy. Does every statement get twisted in your head into a personal attack? To answer your rhetorical question, no, I'm not a dickhead, but I really can't say the same for you.

You want me to list all the English speaking countries that produce good comedy in a youtube comment? are you a complete dick head? As for Kath and Kim I prefer clever comedy that you have to think about, not "switch your brain off at the door" material. Still each to their own I guess.

Kudos for mentioning other countries. There's more than just two of them in the English-speaking world. One of my favourites of recent times is an Aus comedy, Kath & Kim. |
