TV show 1978, «20 Jahre Harlem Ramblers» with guest star Humphrey Lyttelton on Trumpet The Harlem Ramblers Dixieland Jazzband from Zurich, Switzerland was founded in 1955, and, after various changes, settled down in 1969 to a well knit group. The band members were Guenter Sellenath (Tp), Tabis Bachmann (Cl), Thedy Schuetz (Tb), Chris Mitchell (Bj), John Treichler (B), and Gerry Ceccaroni (Dr).The band is still going strong with the hard core of Guenter, Thedy, Chris, and Gerry. It was written by the New Orleans Rhythm Kings in 1923, and all 8 band members had a hand in it. It was resurrected in 1953 by Jo Stafford as a pop hit called "Make Love to Me."

Yes, they were brothers. Lester, was also my uncle. They owned Melrose Publishing Co, but my father was not involved in the business.
