Thief 1 and 2 are the best games of all time. There won´t be a game like that in the future. Only simple games for the stupid masses and console kids.

I agree 100%. I feel that the Thief series, including Thief: Deadly Shadows, were groundbreaking games. The AI alone is what has made the Thief series my favorite sneak-and-hunt type of game as of yet.

The intros and cutscenes in the whole trilogy are simply masterpieces. As well as the games themselves. Thief is simply a legend and milestone in gaming history.

These games have and always will be my favorite of all time. They are just so amazing in every aspect of gameplay. I also love the fact that they are sort of a cult classic, it's always cool to meet other thief fans.

yeah.. I agree that splinter cell is kinda same thing. But Splinter Cell is getting too easy now. For example, in S.C.: Double Agent you got this gun which "produces" a kind of sound in another room, making the game way easier and also at Spliter Cell 3 they released that "EMP" stuff in the pistol. Which turns off the lights without the need of shooting them. Its getting cheap. Splinter Cell Conviction on the other hand seens to be more challenging.

dude...most modern games are simply copying thief...ex: Splinter cell- same concept of sneak and hide....same lock picking thingy, enemy behaviour....list goes on.....there are so many other games too....but thief is my all time fav game and ill remember this game till the day i die....i can still play the game...even today |
