That's right, who'd want to run electric when you ONLY save 95% compared to petrol!!

Lol a Bugatti veyron would beat that in a 1/4 mile, Tzero 0-60 in 2.6 and Bugatti 0-60 in 2.5 wouldnt want a car powered by electric anyway.
jamesjdm (August 19, 2008 at 5:47 am)
this car is faster then a viper in a 1/4 race, there is nothing fishy here. just plain old truth that electric motors make much better tq then gas engines.
jamesjdm (August 19, 2008 at 5:46 am)
for those that can't believe this you are simply suffering from your own ignorance. Electric motors generate MAXIMUM Tq from 1rpm all the way to max rpm and they produce TONS more Tq then a gas engine. once they develop better batteries that are lighter and can slap a full tranny into one of these they will be faster then any gas powered street car ever way.

of course they're gonna make that electric car look good

No matter how we get the "power" for the car; Lithium ion, Lithium phosphate, NiMH, Hydrogen, a small gasoline/ethanol generator, whatever, Electric motors are so much better at torque, propulsion, and efficiency than ANY internal combustion propulsion. Period.

sorry but i just dont beleive that

Li-po are a well known explosion risk while recharging.A123 cells are Li-ion "Nanophosphate" LiFePO4 and can be charged at 4.3C to 100% in 15 minutes and will not explode or catch fire. Each 3.3V 2300mAh cell will take 10A of charge, that's the factory recommended spec. The discharge rate is up to 30C (69.0A) continuous, 60C (138.0A) burst. |
