The idea is pretty incomprehensible if you start with the premise that Amma is a normal woman. She is not. It's about being touched by God, plugging in for a moment to a live current of spiritual energy hot enough to fry some of your bad tendencies or sorrows, to melt your soul towards goodness and light. Otherwise why fly 1000s of miles and wait so many hours? It's kind of like what happened in Bethlehem 2k years ago. Only right now, in Kerala. JAI MA!!
