I wish the volume were higher in this video. I had the volume on the video and my pc turned up to the max and had to put my ear up to the speakers to hear. A really awesome video! Cave diving isn't for me but I love to see other people doing it. I'll live vicariously through you guys, okay?

Yea I read the book in May, its called Raising the Dead in europe and they named it Diving into Darkness or something in the United States. One of the best diving books I've read. Bushmans is an extreme and incredible cave. I would also consider that the Mt. Everest...Sheck "was" very influential to cave diving and set many records and help set safety standards. You should get into diving, be safe!!!

pfffft you guys ever heard of Bushman's Hole in South Africa? i read a book about cave diving there, it goes to 270 metres, (roughly 900 feet), now thats what i call Mt. Everest of cave diving. I want to get into this diving sutff now after reading, is Sheck Exley like the god of diving or something?

Yes, a long time ago, ward has been closed for several years....i really have to say I love a lot of caves and caverns, they are all so unique and all different and beautiful.

evlderreck, Buford is a beautiful cavern but there isnt much cave there. Eagles nest is a huge cave system, both are quite impressive!

JzigslovesJB, the cave has been dove since the 70's not sure who discovered it? I haven't seen any gators there, BIG turtles though. I'm sure there are gators though it is the swamp! I've seen gators in other springs around FL.
