Bremer didn't care to listen to the sound advice of the US military leaders IN IRAQ... Following cheney's directive, he created the insurgency. America should know this: Please...Watch "No End In Sight". YOu can get it on Netflix. Then urge others to see it. Before we continue with failed policy with mccain. I'm not an Obama guy...but I have more faith in him then any of the bush/cheney ilk. Obama is intelligent and can think for himself. bremer is a typical Neo-con "yes man"

paul bremer: booty boy for cheney. These idiots should all be prosecuted. The US military leaders in Iraq had a handle on the situation. Their advice was golden. They were basically told to shut up by bremer and follow cheneys orders...What bremer did caused the insurgency. HE caused the loss of over 4000 American lives and many thousands more permanantly maimed. you'll never see the children of these draft dodgers paying with blood. they're "special" Wake up! vote maccain-more of the same.

eddieroxxx: Very funny post. You should check out Klein's book, Shock Doctrine. In any case this guy paved the way for the foreign takeover of Iraq, but fortunately it failed. The Iraqis didn't protest his policies in street marches, they went after them.The US only takes on those who cannot defend themselves, and they woefully misjudged Iraqi resolve, as they did the Vietnamese under Ho Chi Minh.

Excellent point. Also, they sent a "trained diplomat," with stock and trade in reconstruction contracting, in to oversee the formation of a new Iraqi govt.He obviously had little motive for shortening the war.
