Such awful,awful news.I loved Phantom Blue and thought Michelle was such a great guitarist and from what I've seen and heard in all these tributes her band Meldrum is even better. Rest in peace, Michelle, and my deepest belated sympathies to her husband, son,family,bandmates, and friends.

this is what i read "Meldrum fell into a coma on May 18, 2008 as a result of a cerebral hemorrhage. She passed away on May 21 due to a cystic growth on her brain that had restricted the oxygen and blood flow to her brain, rendering her brain-dead"
