Do you even know what twanging is? Anyway How should he speak? At least he is intelligent to know that he should use Standard English....

what is wrong with you "never see come see" , "band minded" , "read eye" jamaiacans. Instead of worrying about his accent you should be worried that he is not being exploited. Puma and Digicel will make alot of money lets hope it trickles down to him. And lets home Jamaicans prosper from all the mechandising. Worry about that. Usain Bolt have passed Bob Marley as the most recognized Jamaican "name" in the world.

oh by the way Tanyab28. Have ever heard D'angel speak(yes Beenieman's ex') ? That is what you talking about sounding "dumb and illiterate". I be you did not leave a comment on response to seeing one of her interviews.

Do you really understand what is going with Usain Bolt. Do you know how big this show and "David Letterman" show is ? This is bigger that Usain right now. In saying that for you to find fault with his speaking style is ridiculous. If I closed my eyes and listen I would know that he is from JA and that is what counts. YOu and tanyab28 must stop the nonsense. This is a big big thing. Exhale and come down off your pedestal. Enjoy the ride. Whether your argument is warranted or not. WHO CARES

Redstripe555 and Sharon0228 clearly you have missed my point. There is a marked difference between speaking in Standard English in your native/natural accent vs Patois vs TWANGING. Be observant and note the differences. Famous Jamaican public speakers such as Faye Ellington, Dorraine Samuels and our PM Bruce Golding speak standard English (not patois) when on air and this they do in our beautiful Jamaican accent. Thanks tanyab28....I believe you understand my sentiment on the matter.
