Ha ha ha...this is a joke right. I am a martial arts instructor and I can tell you that you need to warm up the muscles a lot. a hot shower will warm up your skin but not the muscles. By the time you dry off, get dress and start to stretch your muscles will be cold cold cold. You should work up a good sweat and do something to warm up the joints as well. You want to get the joint fluids warm and moving as well as the muscles warm and relaxed. Typical lazy person way of thinking. No short cuts.

Hello, I was wondering whether as a warm up, it was ok to have a hot shower instead of running. It's just that it is not very convenient for me to run around to warm up..

Thank you so much for this video. I usually go down really fast into forward splits but I tried going into them slowly and my knee wasnt bent or anything and I was much closer toward the ground!
