I'm not talking out my ass either, you will never find live bungle played anywhere near as well as it sounds on the actual albums. A couple of their songs actually require different guitars for different parts if you want to do it "right."Long before California, they began playing more and more loosely live.Hard to believe I'm probably one of their biggest fans... 90% of the time I'm listening to music it's Mr. Bungle... some friends that only listen to rap have even come to like it...

I hoped that for the longest time, but unfortunately Mr. Bungle just bit off more than it could chew (live). The constant mid-song genre hopping combined with drastic vocal range transitions leaves you with songs that are almost impossible to play correctly live. There's a reason 99.9% of musicians don't even try to dabble in what Bungle did to music... it's hard work.Don't get me wrong, they're one of my favorite bands and at the very least Mike Patton is a musical/lyrical genius.
