Don't agree with the whole anti-union message because I like both my national identities. Will say this much though. While it's a good song, yeah, and it's better than the current national anthem, it's not so much about national pride as personal experience, as such, it wouldn't be that appropriate as the national anthem.

Though Ireland standing tall is all her own. I really wish you could let by gones be by gones. Its better than it has been for years. That doesn't meen your work is done. Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Britain. You can work it out. Its quite weird you all like a lot of none talking relatives.

I prefer Caledonia to Flower of Scotland as a national anthem. It's got a better message and is more powerful in my humble opinion.Anything but God Save The Queen or Scotland The Brave for that matter.saor alba and nae union.

Actually although we don't have a national anthem cause we are sadly in a certain union. Our national anthem is Scotland the Brave and it should stay that way.

Miserable drunks? I am an English born person living in Scotland and I find them to be some of the most wonderful people ever. Sure we enjoy getting merry, but that's exactly what it is, merry. And you can't blame us for the rain, that's to do with geography mate. |
