Just to remind you that Charlie Chaplin was British. Any humour is good in this poor old world.

Thanks for the comment. Please see--in no particular order--Being John Malkovich, Dr. Strangelove, R. Crumb, Richard Pryor, George Carlin, The Venture Brothers, old Eddie Murphy, Network, MST3K, old Cheech & Chong, Lenny Bruce, The Simpsons, Charlie Chaplin, Steve Martin, Andy Kaufman, Clerks, The Big Lebowski, Steven Wright and about a million other examples of Yank non-Friends humor.

R.I.P tommy you are and shall foever be a legend.

In my opinion, only a brit or an Irishman can understand the humour of tommy pretending to forget his lines and then repeating the WHOLE THING again to himself.Yanks have a different sense of humour. It often revolves around groups of attractive actors in coffee shops. More often than not, an actor from yesteryear will crawl into the coffee shop such as Tom Selleck and everyone in the States will go WHOOOO.

He was not drunk - it was a comic routine. |
