absolutely!!!! Jamiroquai are keeping funk alive and thank God for that cause music nowadays has definitely lost its substance. Hands down best funk performance I have ever heard!!!!

if aint broken, why fix it? 70's soul/funk/r&b is great, jamiroquai cuts out the cheesy elements and gets right down to it. i would urge you to check out their older cd's..try and tell me some of that stuff isn't a brilliant new twist on old school flavor.

I agree that he uses snippets of older music and classic horn riffs, but I differ w/the "music is not unique". Everything tonal has been done. It's just a matter of how one uses the tools of music to create something different--even if it has overtones of generations past. Who do we have in the states that does anything like this NOW? Maybe I'll move to the UK for this kind of music! LOL! Speed of Cheeba....

I TOO,RESIDE IN THE STATES, AND REALLY DIG JAMIROQUAI. JASON KAY IS QUIET A TALENT,UNIQUE VOICE AND ONE HELL OF A DANCER( A SERIOUS COMBINATION). BUT; THE MUSIC IS ANYTHING BUT UNIQUE,ALTHOUGH MOST OF THE LYRICS SEEM TO BE ORIGINAL,A GOOD MAJORITY OF JAMIROQUAI'S MUSIC IS SPICED UP VERSIONS OF 1970'S R&B-FUNK BAND SINGLES FROM THE US. ONE PARTICULAR BAND THAT STANDS OUT IS THE T CONNECTION. AS I STATED EARLIER, JAY KAY IS A Talent, but the music is not unique.
