GTA Tutorial Video 01 Modding A Car

1st off,i sound like a nob on this video PMSLanyways this was made back in 2004i thought now i had DIRECTOR status on youtube that it would take the 22min video and it wont SO BAH.......ive cut it into 3 videos,its a prity cool tutorial for noobies to GTAwas made as part of the Vice City Interactive Modders DVD(wich ive not released)although a smaller "CD" version was released in 2002the video shows the manual instalation of a Car, while its rebuilding the IMG i also made a few textures for the same car modelpeople can slam this all they want :pbut for noobs, this video kicks ass....that was the Idea of the DVD to bust open gta for NEW people to learn how to, you can actualy download the CAR and the texturesHERE http://files.filefront.com/For... this video is in 3 partsand youtube will probably Blur it beyond recognition ive also Uploaded this Tutorial as the FULL AVI wich is avalible HERE http://files.filefront.com/GTA... the AVI link is not working (wait a couple of days and il of fixed it)im already notified of down'd links and dont need 100's more emails and messages, be paitentim more into OFP (Operation Flashpoint) these days, but i might make more gta tutorials in the future, doubt il talk on them though, i was more noobish in 2004, i doubt il use my voice again PMSLFinal NOTE:this video is for Vice city but its prity much the same to install a car mod into GTA:III and GTA san andreasand YES "IMG Tool" takes ages on win98 when your capturing your desk to as an AVI to the same drive the img is on LOLive uploaded a few GIG of mods right here http://hosted.filefront.com/Th...

depends on the mod manager thats being used, i aint modded gta since 2004 (its 2008)some mod apps look at the ZIP or RAR that you downloaded, then asks you wich DFF to replacesome want you to Unpack the zip or rar (right click & extract to here on the file you downloaded) then to install they want you to browse to the DFF & TXDbest bet is to click help on the installer because they all work in diffrent ways

i have one,man i used gta mod installer.after a few steps,they asked me to type in which file did i download to.i downloaded to my documents and i typed it.and the when it comes to the vehicle thingy,what should i put?i put it and it said some kind of DFF shit

if you read the "ReadMe.TXT"that "normaly" comes with a GTA modthen this video will make perfect senceunless the basic windows notepad & imgtool are beyond your scope : /

im mainly using windows notepad, wich has been around since windows 1.1, 3.1, 3.11, 95, 98, 98se, xp, vistaif you cant understand that then LOL :Dwhat bit you mainly stuck on ?
