Channel 9 held a special 70th Birthday surprise for Australian TV icon Bert Newton hosted by Mike Munro. Special Guests included Berts family, Patti, Matthew, Lauren, Matt Welsh grandson Sam. Rove, Anthony Callea, Lisa McLune, Marina Prior, Rhonda Burchmore, Nikki Webster, Jules Lund, Ugly Dave, John Michael Howsen,John Foreman, Belvidere, Moira, Khamal, Julia Morris Eddie McGuire, Sam Newman, with special messages sent from, Hugh Jackman, Olivia Newton John, Michael Buble, KD Lang, Julian Cleary to name a few.Anthony Callea and Silvie Paladino led a line up of stars to wish Bert a Happy Bert-Day. Matthew Newton & John Foreman also both sing special tributes to Bert.
