This guy is a complete idiot. Sure the Yaris only has 106bhp, but it only weighs 2400lbs! Here in Austin you can go out to Lime Creek Road, I've SEEN a Yaris keep up with an 07 Mustang GT. Plus it STILL gets better mileage than a Nissan Versa or Honda Fit. I love my Yaris. End of story.

I just bought one and I'm so happy I got it.I'm never regret that I bought it instead of any other strong car. It worth all the pennies I give up for it.It may not be strong and powerful but the "fun" make up for it.TOYOTA FOREVER!

All these so cal green car are so ugly and under power and looks like a go cart...Toyota were never very good with designing cars that looks timeless....

It reminds me of the old Ford Aspire I used to have...I loved that car and I think I got like 38 miles to the gallon. I bought it brand new for 8000.00. That car was so durable it lasted for years before I traded it in for a Geo Prizm

I love my Golf GTI...I think all these new "green" cars like Yaris copied the Golf orignal design which still looks timeless till this day....great on gas...with 180 horse power

Ya, this review was useless and the reviewer sucked royally. Yaris is what it is; small, cute, reliable, efficient drive around town car.

I like the Yaris 2-door despite the reviewer's comments. It is NOT embarrassing to be seen in. My issues with the Yaris is that it could use a tad more power and a bit more content for the money given what Toyota is asking for it. Still, sub-compact cars are the rage with outrageous gasoline prices and I'm glad to see more of them on the road. It's about damn time; America's love affair with massive pick-up trucks & SUV's that weren't always needed was just plain ignorant.
