Have you even studied alchemy? you just have an idea as to what it is. How "scientific" is that? alchemy INVENTED chemistry. Chem or Khem means the rich soil of Egypt that contained all elements. Idiots like you will reject snake oil when it has been proved to contain the same eicosanoids that fish oil has.

Here's the solution to the ongoing debate about Science and Religion. Those who refute Science should have the courage of their convictions and stop using it. For example, if your child is ill, go to your Church or Synagogue and pray to God for a cure. As I'm a total heathen, I will take my child to a hospital and ask those trained in Science to help. It might not work but I believe my choice is the better option.

Right on, Mr Hedges. I firmly beleive that so many of the good people attending church services and mass every week are lead astray by their leaders and a well financed corporate machine. If you are religious then turn to Jesus and ask yourself, would Jesus support the corporations or would he kick over the money changers' table? If you are secular then use your rational and objective thought to see that a secure and stable society can't exist with militarism, poverty and corporate control.

Uh. No. Hitler's belief was in the german people. It's called nationalism. The idea that Hitler was driven by social darwinism is a hoax, there's no historical evidence for it. In fact, Hitler was himself a roman catholic.Creationism is an anti-science movement and you seem to have fallen for their agenda.

I have my own criticism of the religious right. But the idea that teaching creationism is a part of fascism is ridiculous. A much stronger case can be made that Evolution is the religion of the humanist who supported Communism. Hitler's belief in the a superior race was rooted deeply in Evolution's survival of the fittest. The truth is there's not one bit of empirical evidence to prove either evolution or creation to be scientific fact. They both require faith to believe in.

So just because America teaches the Bible's view of creation it's fascist like Germany? In the ME they teach creation. Also schools in America at least try to allow students to formulate their own conclusions. Darwinists want to force evolution on everyone against their will even though it is only a theory.

Dead On!And does the American public even know this?USA - "The Only nation in the industrialised world who teaches Creationism in schools"Well, the rest of us around the world better find our "right" god(s) again and pray like crazies for our children and grandchildrens future then...Cmon, I hope that the next years at least lower those Medieval voices in the USA for some time.Fascsim is always there for you when you need it - You just better be the needed one!

You think its fair to teach intellegent design along side evolution? Why not teach alchemy with Chemistry, and astrology with astronomy...Some things just have truth to them, such as evoltuion. While others are just mysticist superstitions, such as creationalism

And yet, according to all media "experts" the crisis only benefits Democrats and secures Obama as the next President...so, how does that work???
