The wars in the Middle East are not about hiding behind a religion and defeating Islam any more than WW2 was an effort to defeat Lutherans in Germany. It is about defeating and removing evil people from power. Hussein and bin Laden have hidden behind Islam and used it to further their hate-filled actions. Look at the mass murders of the Kurds and 9/11 among many other tragedies.

In the Bible, God tells His people that whoever curses Israel (His chosen people), He will curse; and whoever blesses Israel, He will bless. Christianity follows the same God as Israel, therefore, Christians should support Israel. Regarding hating Muslims...Christians are commanded to never hate, but to work in love. Does that mean always peace? Absolutely not.
