How do you know I've only seen one clip? I haven't seen the movie because I haven't the opportunity to do so, but after watching this clip, which was sent to me by a friend who HAD seen the film and was joking to me about how much she disliked it, I proceeded to read the wiki, the imdb, and watch the multitude of other clips of it available here on youtube. And with what I've seen so far, I'm not impressed. Believe me, I fully intend to watch this movie. Mostly because I enjoy torturing myself.

Almost any comic or game ever. A post-apocalyptic future where an evil conglomeration rules over the people by hording or having a monopoly on something. It was water in Tank Girl, it was Mako in FFVII, and and it's organs in Repo. It's true that everything's been done before, so nothing is really original, but in order to make something interesting, the characters have to be engaging, and the view point from which the story is told has to be unique. I really feel like Repo failed to do that.

only paris is in fetish gear (not that i consider that real fetish wear) the rest of them are dressed kinda punk. Obviously the reason theyre dressed the way they are is because thats the asthetic the people who made the film are going for... I think it looks cool

Im curious as to where else this particular plot has been used. Even the critics who dont like this film at least admit its origional.
