It's NOT based on the centre of evil. Satanism is a religion that chooses to glory in hedonistic pleasures and animalistic side of man, whereas the Christian religion focuses on abstinence, and forgiveness. Satanism isn't screwing everyone else over, it's screwing them over if they screw you over. it's basically like: "i'm going to make the most of my life here", rather than hope for later compensation.
