The bacteria are smaller than a cpu die and the bacteria's cells are smaller still. Yet the bacteria have information enough contained within their cells that they can reproduce. Think how much information must be added to cpu dies before they can do the same. :)

Haha, this is a very ignorant post. Maybe you should do a little reading on Intel vs. AMD performance..Intel comes out on top. AMD might have been "Numeo Uno" a few years ago, but at the moment have no answer for Intels Core 2 and Quad Core cpus. Intel is also releasing its new 45nm Quad-Core "Penryn" cpus in January... And to say VIA, IBM, and PowerPC are better? Give me a break...
