Ok, I can see you have never tried vista. Vista is not an glossy version of xp, vista does not run slow, unless your pc is 5 year old CRAP. You may think it's overrated, but to tell you the truth, the funtions in vista will surely cripple me an an windows user if I ever where to only use xp again. At first, I where as skeptic as you are now of vista. The reason you may experience slow vista, is because vista has A TON of new features, both hidden and shown. Dont hate what you dont know...

why would i? seriously give me a reason. vista is very slow and is imo overrated. i would rather have my pc run games faster than be distracted by shiny desktop effects.

Yeah too bad Supreme Commander has dual screen support in DX9... it's just Nvidia and Microsoft at their finest.

All of those features are in DX9.Apart from soft shadows and particles and volumetric lighting. This can be enabled in DX9 in Crysis however so DX9 is capable of it.MICROSOFT AND NVIDIA ARE PAYING DEVELOPERS TO RESTRICT NEXTGEN FEATURES IN DX9.Thankyou :)
