don't compare radiohead with the beatles, because you cannot. The beatles single handedly revolutionised music unlike any other artist

Haha, I think it's awesome that these guys look like just your average joes that you'd see walking around on the street, and yet they make some of the best music of a generation.

I think the guy from Muse sounds like a far more energetic version of Thom's voice. But I agree, Musically they sound nothing alike.

Radiohead are definitely taking more risks than the Beatles and Oasis and Muse. That's what makes Radiohead so great, they don't do what everyone else is doing. They make their own genre of music

Nahh I'd say Radiohead are about equal with The Beatles in terms of music. The Beatles sound a lot more poppier than Radiohead, that's for sure. Although Radiohead, let alone 90 percent of artists today probably wouldn't exist without The Beatles because of all the things they experimented with, influencing the way people thought about producing music.

The way I see it, Muse are like a combination of Radiohead and Queens of the Stone Age. They heave the obsession with strange noises that Radiohead do, and also Matt falsettos the fuck out of most of Muse's songs, which Thom does quite often with Radiohead's. Pepper that over sledgehammer-bashing-on-your-head type riffs by QotSA and you've got Muse.

Good song from one of their best albums (one of many!), gotta respect radiohead. But I do think some people need to get their noses out of Tom York's arse... just saying. |
