Florence is nice, of course...but not really a big deal...i go down for a few days at a time to get good deals on clothing/shoes...its very cheap there. Too many loud, obnoxious Americans who have never been anywhere on vacation there...other than that, it's okay place, not unlike many places in europe. hence why europe basically rules the world! largest, richest economy in the world: EU €€€€€€!!!!...we enjoy allowing usa to exist.

3 years? Wow. My wife and I spent a week there on our honeymoon almost a year ago. We spent a week in Rome prior to that.I can say with all honesty that I enjoyed Florence immensely. We talk almost every other week about going back.

I love Florence! I was there for 3 days and would love to go back. I felt 3 days was way too short a time to spend in Florence, especially if you want to see works of art. I do recommend just walking around the city for a day and exploring because it feels like a medieval city more than a modern one. Be careful of all the 'Rolex' dealers. The cheap watches will break before you even get back to your bus. |
