try Wubi you don't need to partition anything. It'll run off of the same windows partition and duel boot. It's a lot easier.

how do i get Wireless card to work..i installed it to my lap top =(...my nvidia graphics card it says its disabled but im able to run youtube on it...im a bit confused on wat to do

Just done your suggesting! Excellent os! But there are a few things that I still need windows for because wine doesn't work with certain software so I duel booted but I like Ubuntu better for being customizable and stable! Thankyou for the suggesting.

I am going to try Ubuntu, BUT with something they just made...Wubi which you can install ubuntu straight to the C: drive in windows without partitioning. Neat? Just google "Wubi" its usally the 1st choice. Enjoy this new info!

what they should have is more stablility and more speed and compatiblity with more windows programs. I'm usin linux mint elyssa (which is hardy) its actually similar to ubuntu just different stuff. |
