As ideal as it sounds, returning to gold won't work because there isn't enough in the world. Also, it is a commodity, which means that the value of it changes with demand for it. I love Ron Paul, but this is the only policy of his I don't agree with because of it's idealism.

He won't win but if he did he would be assasinated as soon as he took office. When you give the control of money to bankers they control the economy. That is why if we go back to gold it will EXTREMELY help our nation.

Yeh, Ron Paul wants to legalize Marijuana. The fact is, legalizing it would save a lot more lives than if we kept it illegal. And what's the matter with returning to gold?

We spend more than half of our budget on our military - we could easily cut 30-40% of that, medicare has been a failure (we should cut spending on that in the future), the dept. of education has been an even bigger failure, there's actually a lot of 'obliterating' to do.

Many ppl in big business don't like the reality that the consumer has control over 2/3's of the US economy bc they see themselves as the dominant force. They see mergers & acquisitions as the dominant driving tool which runs the US economy...in much the same way that Richard Ramirez saw murders & executions!Obama is the best person to be president that is still in the race. The federal reserve can be abolished, the income tax can be abolished, without returning to the gold standard, without obliterating half the federal gov't, (And have you ever heard Ron Paul talk about drugs!!?), and without the massive sweeping changes in laws about drugs! If you think that it would be a good thing to obliterate half the federal gov't, then that means that you look at the middle class AND the working poor in much the same way that corporate America views them!
