Now that was truly extraordinary. In the various commentaries I have provided over the years, in various media I have never found myself without a criticism to make. This is a unique and staggering moment. Thank you, to he who posted this. I am saddened only that I did not see this live.

Vous préfèreriez qui? Agnès Mellon ou Emma Kirkby? Soyons sérieux, c'est Phèdre qu'il s'agit d'interpréter, pas un angelot!Jessye Norman a certes une voix énorme (pour notre plus grand bonheur!), mais elle est capable d'allègements sublimes, comme elle le prouve ici même.

When critics say that Norman left her "stamp" on the French repertory, they generally mean the stamp an elephant leaves on a flower bed after sitting on it.

Quand les critiques disent que la Norman a laissé son "empreinte" sur le répertoire français, ils veulent généralemetn dire l'empreinte que laisse un éléphant sur une plate-bande fleurie après s'y être assis.

Les "baroques" me font rire !!! All of them are so stupid , they know nothing about Baroque Voice but they have always to complaine abput this & about that...so stupid 6 boring ! Let's listen Mme. Norman and say : Thanks God for giving us such an amazing Woman and Singer !!! Uncomparable Jessy !!!

Oui c'est ce que je voulais dire . Avec un avis aussi "tranchant" on peut faire attention à l'orthographe. je suis entièrement d'accord avec SENAFOREVER.
