The VGA Mega cool box have a vga input and ofcourse one vga output, you can plug consoles with component cables, but you can also plug the Dreamcast with the VGA adaptor. Benefits of that? well, instead of plugin direct to monitor and have a 640-480 resolution you can upscale it to 1080. If the quality will be better? don't know, only testing and give it a try

Does this vga box also work with PS2 fat (not slim!)?

I searched shops with cables and I have an idea. There are cables SCART->COMPONENT. So plug standard scart DC cable, then cable that outputs COMPONENT signal. In that way is it possible to get things work? :)

You can only plug COMPONENT cable into the Mega Cool VGA Box. I dont remember if the Dreamcast ever had one.

Since most VGA Boxs allow you to choose what resoulution to display on the screen, my guess is that the Dreamcast graphics can be upscaled to a higher resolution than what it normally produces; therefore higher than 640x480.

I know, but is it possible to play in higher resolution than 640x480?

You don't need to use a VGA box with the Dreamcast. The Dreamcast is able to output its own native VGA signal; all you need is the Dreamcast VGA Adapter.

Is it works with Sega Dreamcast? Does anyone tested it with DC?
