Someone needs to come up with a REAL DX10 demo. This one and the 'human head' don't show SHIT, you could copy paste the textures and models, add some HDR and it would look the same under DX9. And the performance is slower, so they can't use that excuse.

i have gf 8800GTS 320MB and cpu core2duo e6600 and iam playing on ultra high settings(res. 1280x1024)and i get about 35fps average(min 30 max 45) and hd4850 is 50%more powerfull so you should get min 60fps average .....and with other cars on the screen?...it depends on the cpu if you have min am2 4600 od core2duo e6300 it shoud be ok........sry for my bad english:)

where did you get the benchmarks for the 4850 on DIRT?Would the 4870 lag with other cars on screen?Your english is good btw :D

on 4850 is about 50fps avg so you will have about 65pfs avg on 4870........4870 is better than nvidia 260 and a bit slower than n280.....sry for my bad english.
