R.I.P Randy Pausch, i think he really has a voice.

I looked up pedantic, it said "the kind of in-bred knuckle-dragger who corrects peoples spelling on youtube" then I looked up "stupid", and it said "the kind of person who does it, just before calling someone "pedantic"". I didn't claim that dentistry gives you cancer, I claimed SMOKING gives you cancer, so there's yet another thing you don't understand, just like the phfrase "medical supposition".

It' not the ROOT CANAL that can put you at risk, silly. It's the disease that would require you to have the root canal that's questionable. Geez...
memoe0081 (September 5, 2008 at 11:06 pm)
I think you're confused. I'm memoe, and I am the one you are speaking with about periodontal disease... gwymedd is the "mediocre" conversation you're recalling. And I did not say that it LEADS to cancer, I merely pointed out the studies that show it CAN put you at risk. Your comment about me causing my grandmother's death shows that you are most likely prodding people for a reaction, so I shall terminate my attention to this discourse.

god bless you

gwymedd- "Mediocre"! One of the words...like "stupid" that ought to be spelled correctly if one is trying to make a point about another person's intelligence. Aside from being highly pedantic (look it up, stupid) your post offered nothing to support your claim that periodontal disease leads to pancreatic cancer. That's like saying your grandmother is dead because she had YOU for a grandson. Hey...there's a medical supposition!
gwymedd (September 5, 2008 at 10:58 pm)
point taken thanx, next time I'll spell it phfrase.

Your DEAD grandmother would NOT be insulted by anything I say, see if you and marrianne can work out why not between you. no I didn't know/care about peridontal disease being carconagenic, but If people voluntarily have 20 root canals a day, despite knowing that there is a good chance that it will give them cancer, then yes, I'll tell them not to bore me with the details of how how much they were affected by prof. pausch's speech.
