Yes,it had wind gust from the back that pushed it down at landing.Wind is still one of the most dangerous things for a plane.

Crosswinds, morons. Look into them. Protip: landings aren't so soft with a crosswind.
nabob2233 (October 3, 2008 at 9:21 pm)
needs to flare more
praetorian2150 (October 3, 2008 at 2:07 pm)

omnoplea (October 3, 2008 at 1:42 pm)
I would like to see you do better
captianofthesky1 (October 3, 2008 at 10:19 am)
you have to much flaps and you pull the noise up it just dont work
Sinocian (October 2, 2008 at 10:26 pm)
Sorry, but that makes no sense. It's called a flare. The aircraft retards the throttle and gently pulls back on the control column. It makes the landings softer, instead of your hard as hell flight simulator landings.

Nothing wrong with that landing! It takes a steady hand to land in those winds.
ChelseaAllTheWay13 (October 2, 2008 at 6:07 pm)
Nothing wrong with that. Safe.

Only pilot error I saw was he flared too early, but considering the conditions, I think he did a fantastic job. |
